Quinto
Matanzas is a city that is famous for its Afro-Cuban rhythms. Jesse and his friends, Tony, and Rafael, participated in a 2 hour drum workshop with a local drum master. The lead percussionist plays a drum known as the Quinto, or high pitched drum.
