To streamline the process please provide the following elements for your submission:

1) High quality audio file. WAV and AIFF file types are preferred. Other file formats including MP3, MP4, AAC, are accepted.

2) Photo or multiple photos of sound recording location or subject.

3) A short paragraph describing the sound, location, or its context.

4) A photo of yourself for your personal contributor page.

Directions:

There are no specific directions for what sounds to collect. We have learned that different and cool sounds can happen anytime. The sounds of a market, a busy neighborhood, nature, a beach (with or without people). Avoid wind noise. Record for a minimum of 60 seconds, but try for longer recordings whenever possible.

The only sounds we cannot use are ones that contain mainstream or popular music in the background due to copyright issues.
