Pink
Flamingos are large wading birds that are instantly recognizable for their bright pink coloring. Their diet consists of water plants and crustaceans. It is the pigment found within the crustaceans that gives the flamingos their unique color. Many species of flamingos can be found around the world and these were found in a saltwater lagoon outside of Puerto Villamil.
