Garden of Eden
Guatemala is home to one of the most diverse and extensive forest systems in Central America. Nearly 9,000 species of plants share space with over 1,200 different kinds of amphibians, birds, mammals, and reptiles. Today, forests cover between one-quarter and one-third of the country.
