The Jewel of the Bay of Islands
In the heart of New Zealand’s Bay of Islands lies the bustling seaside town of Paihia. Residents and visitors enjoy the golden sand beaches as well as the close proximity of the area’s 144 islands. But before dawn (when this sound was recorded), you hear only the calming sounds of nature, including the Tui birds as the waves crash into the shore.
