Surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Ajanta and Ellora Caves, the city is a tourism hub, but its IT and manufacturing sectors has made it one of the fastest growing cities in India and all of Asia. A busy morning vegetable market provides fresh produce for the expanding population.
