San Cristóbal is the easternmost and oldest geologic island of the Galápagos archipelago. Composed of fused and extinct volcanoes, San Cristóbal has a piece of coast known as La Loberia. It is home to a diverse animal population, including a large number of sea lions that rest on the rocks and sand.
