Mosque
Sarajevo is the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Settlement of the area dates back to prehistoric times, but the modern city developed as an Ottoman stronghold in the 15th century. Today, the culturally diverse region maintains a significant Muslim population and the call to prayer can be heard throughout the city daily.
