Kuching Town Mosque
Kuching is the capital of the Malaysian state of Sarawak on Borneo. Like the rest of the country, it is culturally and religiously diverse. The Masjid Bandaraya Mosque was built in 1968 and its distinctive golden dome is a well-known landmark in the city. While attempting to record the evening call to prayer, the call from neighboring mosques could be heard echoing across the river, creating this unique sound.
