Carnival
Celebrated all over the world, Carnival is a yearly festive season leading up to the Christian observance of Lent. The country of Panama has some of the world’s largest celebrations, with traditions dating back to the early 1900s. A common way to celebrate is a brass band performance, like this one, recorded at a birthday party in the town of David.
