Off the coast of Brazil near Angra dos Reis lies the island of Ilha Grande. Once home to a notorious prison, it is now a protected area of Atlantic rainforest with world class beaches. With no roads or cars on the island, many of these beaches offer an isolated feeling as they can only be reached by hiking or boat.
