Established in 1957, Bako National Park is the oldest national park in the state of Sarawak in eastern Malaysia. It covers an area of 27 square kilometers and is home to a wide range of plants and wildlife. Among the park’s many residents are a number of species of frogs who became especially vocal after a morning rain shower.
