Plitvička jezera
Sitting in the mountainous Karst area of central Croatia, Plitvice Lakes is the largest national park in Croatia. Noted for its natural beauty, the park contains a number of lakes that vary in color due to the minerals and organisms that exist. The over 1,000,000 annual visitors are sometimes greeted with raindrops along side the waterfalls as in this recording from July 2014.
