Call to Prayer
The Sultanahmet is a mosque in the old city of Istanbul. Built between 1609 and 1616 by Sultan Ahmed I, it is often referred to as the Blue Mosque due to the colorful tiles on the interior. The mosque remains active and the call to prayer can be heard five times a day.
