Monumento al Ahogado
Punta Del Este is a city on the Atlantic coast of Uruguay and is a popular beach destination for the area. One of the city’s most unique landmarks is the Monumento al Ahogado, or “The Hand”. Consisting of five fingers emerging from the sand, it was originally designed to warn to swimmers about the rough waves in the area.
