Analog
In the late 1980s, the electronic music style known as Techno began in the blue collar city of Detroit. Many city dwellers worked in the automotive factories and were influenced by the futuristic and repetitive sounds. A distinguishing trait of Techno’s original sound is the use of analog synthesisers and drum machines.
