A Pearl Set in Emeralds
Granada, Spain holds one of the world’s great wonders, the Alhambra. Built as a fortress in 889, it became a royal palace in 1333 by the Sultan of Granada. Drawing visitors for its beauty, it also represents one of Spain’s best known Arab-Islamic architectural examples.
