Tō-ji
Toji is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect in Kyoto, Japan. Dating back to 796, the temple was founded in the early Heian period. Surrounded by ornate gardens, the pagoda of Toji measures up to 54.8 meters and is the tallest wooden tower in Japan.
