The Long Biên Bridge is a historic cantilever bridge that spans the Red River in Hanoi, Vietnam. When it was opened in 1903, it was one of Asia’s largest bridges. Heavily bombarded during the Vietnam War, only half the bridge retains its original shape. However, it has since been repaired and is currently an important river crossing containing an active railroad line.
