Great Indian Desert
The Thar Desert is located in the northwestern part of Indian subcontinent. Spanning the border of India and Pakistan, the desert is over 200,000 square kilometers. It is the most populated desert in the world and a camel safari is a popular way to visit the remote region. Visitors are often greeted by the local villagers who play traditional Marwari music.
