Due to the abundance of prey, The Serengeti is home to over 3,000 lions. It is believed to be the largest population of lions in Africa. The lions’ cubs stay near their mothers for the first two years of their lives while they learn to hunt. This recording captured the sound of a group of young cubs as they played around in the grass.
