Black Mountain
The Sierra Negra Volcano lies on the southeastern end of Isabela Island. It rises to an altitude of 1,124 meters and is one of six active volcanoes on the island. It last erupted in October 2005, and it has left behind a massive lava crater. The soundtrack to the incredible views of the volcano include a vocal cricket population.
